I have been somewhat under the
weather lately. Fever, stomach cramps,
lower stomach sore to the touch, and then last night I had the dang hic-ups
most of the night. That always worries
me because I remember when I was a kid, my Grandpa got the hic-ups and couldn’t
get rid of them. He got weaker and
weaker and no matter what the doctor did, they wouldn’t stop. The doctor finally said that if they didn’t
stop soon, that my Grandpa would have to have surgery and have the nerves
cut. They did finally stop, just in time
to prevent the surgery. Wow, that was a
lot of years ago. I wonder if they have
more things they could do now?
I don’t have much to say today,
so I think I will bid you all ado until tomorrow. You all have a great day now, you hear?
Take care of yourself. Get better soon.
ReplyDeleteYea, just kick back til it clears up.It's probably caused by all that home improvement you're doing. :-)
ReplyDeleteTry eating a teaspoon of plain ole sugar next time you get hic ups.
I hope you're feeling better soon. I just hate it when I get hiccups!
ReplyDeleteOut of all the remedies for hic cups i've ever heard of,,a sip of vinegar works the best.
ReplyDeleteSixbears, thank, I plan to.
ReplyDeleteBen, do you think that I am just allergic to work?
Gypsy, my cousin also had them for quite awhile like my grandpa. Maybe it runs in the family.
Trouble, I love vinegar, used to sit and sip it while watching TV when i was a kid.
Hope you get to feeling better. Last winter I had the hiccups for 3 days, really wears you out.
ReplyDeleteJimkabob, I do remember that. I seem OK right now. Mine have let up some. Hope they stop for good soon.
ReplyDeleteget some rest, will keep you in my prayers.
