Wondering about the wild rabbits.

This morning after the dogs went out and came back in, I noticed our resident rabbit had a friend.  Since the "friend" was chasing our resident rabbit around, I figured that there just might be love in the air.  I went out on the deck with my trusty old camera to get a picture of the two rabbits chasing each other.  The resident rabbit just stopped, watched me a little while and started eating.  The visiting rabbit stayed hid in the brush.  Dang, I wanted to get a video of them running around, or even a still shot of them both in the yard, but do you think that they cooperated?  No they didn't.  The resident rabbit, as if to show off to the visitor, gracefully hopped between the gate and the fence post and went into the dog's yard.  It hopped around a bit then went out through the fence near the other rabbit as gracefully as a ballet dancer.  Then the race was on, except they ran off down through the woods and with them went my photo opportunity.  I guess they were going to breed like rabbits. . . Now you all have a great mid-week bog down, you hear?

  7. Gypsy, got me pegged (grin). Actually, I was trying to get both of them close enough together to get a good picture, but they wouldn't cooperate. I guess they wanted a little privacy.
