Wondeiring about some funny quotes.

I figured it is about time for some laughs.  We had a storm blow though here just before 06:00 and it is still raining.  So, our trip to the flea market was put on hold, maybe even canceled.  We will decide if it ever stops raining.  Not going to complain.  Always can use some rain.  I think I will post some quotes that I hope will give you a smile or two.  So here goes:

All these quotes come from: http://www.brainyquote.com/quotes/topics/topic_funny.html#iZDukp5AocFohyji.99

A word to the wise ain't necessary - it's the stupid ones that need the advice.
Bill Cosby

When you are courting a nice girl an hour seems like a second. When you sit on a red-hot cinder a second seems like an hour. That's relativity.
Albert Einstein

A day without sunshine is like, you know, night.
Steve Martin

I feel sorry for people who don't drink. When they wake up in the morning, that's as good as they're going to feel all day.
Frank Sinatra

BTW, my father-in-law used to always say the above quote, and up until now, I thought it was his original.  Maybe it was and Frank Sinatra stole it from him (grin).

Go to Heaven for the climate, Hell for the company.
Mark Twain

As a child my family's menu consisted of two choices: take it or leave it.
Buddy Hackett

A government that robs Peter to pay Paul can always depend on the support of Paul.
George Bernard Shaw
Now old George sure got that right.

People who think they know everything are a great annoyance to those of us who do.
Isaac Asimov

Housework can't kill you, but why take a chance?
Phyllis Diller

A woman's mind is cleaner than a man's: She changes it more often.
Oliver Herford

OK, that is enough for now.  If you want more, go to the link I posted above, and have yourself a very fine day, you hear?

  4. BB, I am not sure what you don't get. Have a good nap.

Trouble, thanks, I just thought a laugh was needed today.

Jimdabob, It quit a little after 09:00, but the rain cooled the morning down a little. It has been in the 90's so a little relief feels good.
