Wondering about my favorite tree.

There is really nothing that special about this tree although in my opinion, they are all special.  At the end of my "front lot", I have a gate.  It is not there to keep people out of my place because the drive way at that point begins a loop.  It is there to keep the kids on their dirt bikes and four-wheelers from cutting through my property and tearing up my yard inside the gate.  Here is a picture of that gate:

That gate is usually closed, but it is shown open in the above picture.  Don't forget, you can click on any of the pictures to enlarge them.

This next picture is what you see if you take a left before going though my gate.  See that odd shaped tree down there just after where the road makes a "Y".  It is on the right side of the driveway that veres off to the left and continues down to the back of my property where my son lives.  So, every time I come home I see this tree.  With the drought that we have had for the last couple of years, it has stressed the trees and a lot of them have died.  This one was late putting on leaves this year and I thought it may have also been a drought victim but it is now putting on some leaves.

Here is a closer picture, and as you can see there are some light green new leaves appearing on it.

Did you notice all the vines growing on it?  I am going to have to cut them off at the ground but will be unable to get them out of tree.  There are vines all over my place and they can be a problem.

Ahhh, blue and green are my favorite colors and maybe that is why I like my place so much.  I hope you all live in a place that you like, also.  Just have yourselves a great day, you hear?

  1. Greetings, my human friend,

What a splendid location you have. A wondrous sight of those trees. I love trees and I like lawn. My human likes blue and green. The colours, colors, apologies spell check, of the Vancouver Canucks.

    Have a great day, y'all.

  2. Glad you liked it here, I sure do. BTW, I went to Penn State for a couple of years and their colors were blue and white. Those are sky colors; blue skies and white clouds.
