Now, this reminds me of Daffy Duck. Daffy Duck was created on this date back 1937 at Warner Brothers (to compete with Disney) and has been entertaining us ever since, sometimes by using a big wooden mallet on poor ole Porky Pig. At other times ole Daffy seemed quite confused:
At other times he was quite confident and in control:That's all folks. Now, you all look for the humor in things and along with me, wish Daffy a Happy Birthday and have yourselves a great day, you hear?
No question in my mind whether you are daffy or not. Happy Easter.
ReplyDeleteAnd a Happy Easter to you from a daffy old guy.
DeleteOk Dizzy, again today, your blog did not update to today's post. Yesterdays post is what I see in my list of blogs that I follow.
ReplyDeleteBut let me 'splain. When ya put a title on your blog post, that is what is not updating. Yesterday's title is still there an' yesterdays post is way down my list instead of updated to the top. I can easily click on your blog name, way down there, an' walla...today's post appears.
Some people don't have this problem 'cause they have their settings set to blog name only....not with the title of your post. I'll not bother you with this no more.....just thought you would like to know.
Ha....now it's at the top. You da man Dizzy...daffy or not.
DeleteMy blog doesn't deserve to be at the top of anyone's list.
DeleteYour blog updates just fine on my computer. Hmmm.
DeleteBarney, your blog doesn't have a list of blogs you follow. Hmmmm....
DeleteI'd never given Looney tunes a thought... guess I lumped everything together with Walt Disney stuff... so... who's daffy now? It's okay... as long a Bugs Bunny gets the eggs delivered on time tomorrow morning.
ReplyDeleteIf Bugs is delivering the eggs instead of the Easter Bunny, there may be a problem. . . .
Deleteloved those old cartoons, no matter whose they were. Maybe favorite,,, foghorn leghorn
ReplyDeleteI liked that old rooster, too, and most of the old cartoons. Todays cartoons have a lot to be desired.
DeleteOh yes, the best part of going to see a movie was the cartoon. Remember when they had cartoons with movies?
DeleteI don't believe I have ever watched a Daffy duck cartoon. I am not much of a movie goer either.
ReplyDeleteI am trying to remember which cartoons I watched as a kid but with my CRS...I just don't seem to remember.
Then again I was always grounded and TV was the first privilege they took away followed by the telephone :-(
Dang, I wish they would come up with a vaccine for CRS. You ain't the only one that has it. BTW, I still like a good old cartoon now and then.
DeleteAs Porky Pig always said : "Th-th-th-that's all folks!"
ReplyDeleteAnd that is all.
