Wondering about wild grapes

Oh No, I can't take much more.

Wasn't my wife's passing away enough?  It was actually almost more than I could stand and it hasn't gotten any better.  Then today our dog, (We always consider him her dog, since she picked him out of a litter and he was with her all the time.  Even layed beside her when she was sitting in her chair.)  Cang Le, is having lots of trouble getting around.  He can't seem to stand up and when he tries to walk, he goes in circles.  He is now breathing regulary, although panting hard, as he lays beside me in my rocker/recliner.  I will get him to the Vet's in the morning.  I held him up and he ate most of his dinner. That is a good sign.  I sure didn't need this right now.  I guess trouble and hart break comes in bunches.  Now, you all have a better evening than I am have having.

  1. It may not help your dog's situation, but hemp oil really helped our little dachshund with some temporary pain she had a couple years ago.

    1. He is taking a lot of meds and they seem to be helping some. He is now laying quietly beside me in my rocker/recliner. So far so good.

  4. Even the Dog can pine the loss of your wife. It's their way of grieving.

    It's about time.

  5. He is missing your wife as much as you. Our fur babies feel so much and sometimes we just don't understand. At least you got her to eat something Hope it is good news at the vet.

    1. Fairly good news but they said I had to understand that he is getting quite old. That doesn't make matters any better.

  6. I agree with the previous comments. Pets in particular dogs also grieve the passing of a loved one.

Hope the vet finds what is ailing him so he can get back to his old self and be an emotional support for you. Sending comforting vibes your way.

    1. At his age, the loss of "his mama" was hard on him. I pray for the best and brace for the worst.

    1. He is now on meds and so far, so good. I just have to realize that he is no Spring chicken (dog). My other dog is a little younger but she is sleeping a lot more at this time.

  9. I feel bad for you and the dogs. it will take time, which is about the only cure. I hope you are feeling fairly good - as much as you can at this time.
