Just Something I Noticed.

Last night, I got into bed and was laying there on my back.  Before I pulled the sheet over me, I looked down and noticed how my stomach seemed to have disappeared.  On further study of this interesting situation, I noticed that my both sides were bulging out a little bit.  So, I put a hand on each and pushed in.  Low and behold, my stomach popped back out.  OK, another of life's little mysteries solved.  Now have a great day, you hear?

    1. What is life without humor? You can't feel pain when you are laughing, unless you hurt yourself laughing too hard.

  3. Dizzy, I'm going to try that little test when I go to bed. I would rather have the bulges on my sides than in the belly.

  6. I love it when one of life's mysteries gets solved! My problem is...I can't lose my tummy, even when I lay flat!

    1. What happens when you lay on it? Does it just stay there and you rock back and forth on it?? Just kidding. Your gnome picture shows that you are nice and slim. . .

  7. Haha, I will probably try this later. Hope the Mrs. is recuperating.

    1. You have to have a little fat for it to work. It will take the Mrs. about six weeks or so.

  8. That's just gravity, DD. You know once you stand up that it will be where it was before!

I sure hope that Ruth is feeling better.

    1. Yep, gravity and old age don't mix too well. It will take Ruth quite awhile to get better. Broken ankle and broken knee take some time to heel. She is not a happy camper right now. You know the old saying "when momma ain't happy, nobody is happy", well, momma ain't happy.

    2. That might take a while to heal. In the meantime, can't you don the apron and be the momma then you can determine the happiness degree?

  9. Why sure I can and I do. Can't let us starve so have to cook so that means I have to do dishes, etc., etc.
