He is a friend of ours and sells his wares, which are mostly knives, at the flea market most every week. He makes a fantastic Santa. That is not a fake beard, it is his real beard and he also has long white hair and a jolly belly:
Tonight, my wife and I sat watching TV. Perry Mason and Matlock were on. She likes to keep busy, so was making me some wrist warmers. It didn't take her long at all and they turned out to be really nice. Here, take a look:
Correction - - those are called fingerless gloves. My wife said I should correct my mistake. Sorry.
Those wrist warmers look like a very handy piece of clothing. Please tell her hello for me.
ReplyDeleteYes, they warm the wrist which then warms the blood flow to the hand and fingers. Works quite well. I told "hello" for you.
DeleteI really like those wrist warmers going to have to look up the pattern
ReplyDeleteMy wife didn't use a pattern but said that "posh pooch designs" may have a pattern. She also made a pair for herself with a different design.
DeleteMy wife said to contact her at her email - horamr45@gmail.com because she make up the pattern herself.
DeleteI corrected my blog to call them fingerless gloves. They are not wrist warmers. Sorry.
DeleteAs soon as this Holiday stuff is over I will contact her. I don't knit I crochet will it make a difference?
DeleteAnd have a wonderful Christmas Mr. & Mrs. Dizzy
DeleteThey are crocheted.
DeleteLooks like you scored all the way around! Cool!
ReplyDeleteYep, sure did. Hope you and yours have a wonderful and joyous holidays.
DeleteSince I can't find any shirts around town big enough, I'd need a pair of wrist warmers that go clear to my shoulders! - lol
ReplyDeleteWell then they would be arm warmers (grin). Why stop there, make them body warmers. . .
DeleteI like Santa, and I'll bet any kids at the flea market liked him as well. Hope you and Mrs. Diz have a wonderful Christmas, and happiness and good health in the coming year.
ReplyDeleteI liked him, too. Thanks for the good wishes and the same to you, for sure.
DeleteMerry Christmas. I like the Flea Market Santa and I love the fingerless gloves you wife made.
ReplyDeleteAnd a Merry Christmas to you and yours. My wife and I have decided to not "do Christmas" this year and just stay home and relax and enjoy our pups.
DeleteHappy Holidays to you and Mrs. Dizzy. We also did not do Christmas this year.
ReplyDeleteYour wife is very talented, I liked her fingerless gloves.
My wife has to keep busy doing something, so she makes stuff. Me, I keep busy playing computer games.
DeleteHi Dizzy-Dick,
ReplyDeleteYep, I'm beyond fashionably late. Your wife has quite some talent, what with those fingerless gloves.
Hope you had a marvellous Christmas, good sir.
Gary
