It is 2:00 pm and the plumber came and looked at it and went for supplies and hasn't returned yet. He said that he would be right back, that was over an hour ago.
Bill's our plumber... and yesterday he re-caulked the RV toilet... guess we had a leak at the flushing mechanism. Thank goodness we have "spare" bathroom over in the barn ;-)
You fixed your laptop and the plumbing got jealous, now it wants some attention. Might have to lavish some affection and cold cash while silently cussing to yourself.
Really hope you got the water leak fixed. I feel your pain as a similar thing happened to us a few years back. Water started leaking under the kitchen floor, it was bubbling up! Like you, I turned off the mains water and called our local plumber. He quickly located the burst pipe, but it was a stressful day!
I can surely relate and sympathize with anyone who has plumbing problems! Hope the plumber gets there soon and has no trouble fixing the problem.

DeleteWell, that's not a good thing! I HATE water leaks. But sometimes it's something simple - here's hoping it's a quick fix.
