Sometimes the circle of life can be sad. I hope the chickens, ducks, etc., stay safe, but coyotes are a big part of the ecology as well, and we would miss them in more ways than one if they go away.

On numerous occasions I flown into airports from Ohio to California where the control tower mentions “Be advised there are coyotes at the end of the runway.”
They are probably one of the most adaptable wild animals around here.
