Views of Our Solar System

I found a website that posted 116 slides.  Pictures taken throughout our solar system.  I found it quite interesting and I thought you would, too.  To make it easy for you, click on the link below and after you get to the site, pan down to the very bottom.  There you will find the pictures.  Just pick on the arrow at the side of a slide to go to the next one, etc., etc.

I hope you enjoyed the pictures.  Now have a great day, you hear?

  1. I'm not going to accept "Planet Ten" until they reinstate the real Planet Nine, which is Pluto!

    1. Actually, Pluto has a companion about the same size as it is. It was named Charon. Both are classified as "minor planets". If Pluto is reinstated to full planet status, then Charon should be, too.

  2. I enjoyed seeing all the colors (like pychodelic Pluto) more than seeing the astronauts and their equipment. Big blue marble was one of my favorites.

    1. Yes, although most telescopes are not powerful enough to see a lot of colors. Through my scope, Mars does look to be red and Neptune looks blue.

    1. You are very welcome, Linda. I also thought that they were awesome. But, of course as you know, I love the beauty of our universe.
