Wondering why I lost the internet.
I can not get on the Internet my normal way. I am now using a Verizon Hot Spot, but it needs charged and will not last long. Just wondering what is wrong. It could be that the my line was cut. A fellow staying with my son tried to drive through my front lot yesterday after it rained here for a couple of days. Of course he got stuck and kept spinning his wheels on his 4x4 truck, trying to get out. He sunk in very deep and I bet he broke one of my two buried phone lines that comes to my house. It runs through where he was stuck. My land line works but the Internet line doesn't. I saw what was going on when I came home from having eye surgery yesterday. I am not a happy camper. Other people's stupidity affect a lot of people!! Well, at least I hope you have a great day, you hear?
Oh Dizzy-Dick. Wish I was able to help but I'm not got at the technology stuff. I'm sure someone reading your post will be able to offer some advice and help. I'm hoping that your eye surgery went well and you recover quickly. Have a good weekend mate.
ReplyDeleteI am on my phone right now myself. No wifi on the island, so I'm glad to connect at all.
ReplyDeleteWell, I wondered where you were yesterday ;-)
ReplyDeleteWe are parked in our Ohio site that Bill put in before we started traveling. We're having problems with the kid (he may be an adult in years, but he's quite immature) and he has another week or so before he's moving (not by his choice). When we got home from the Farmer's Market today, he had backed up to our RV Site, spun his tires and dug big ruts all the way to the driveway. It didn't affect anything except for the inconvenience for Bill to repair the ruts... but... what's with these kids anyway? Hope you get your problem fixed soon... and hope we get ours to move out - it's time to move on!
May be those solar flares are evaporating what few brain cells some people got. Hope you get re-connected soon.
ReplyDeleteThot you couldn't post cause of the eye surgery. How is that going? Glad you got on for long enough to tell us what was going on. Will your provider fix the problem?
ReplyDeleteYes, I also want to know how the surgery went. Hope youi're doing okay.
ReplyDeleteRum-Punch Drunk, It will get fixed, but in the mean time it is just an inconvenience I will have to live with. Eye surgery went well.
ReplyDeleteSixbears, yep, there is more than one way to skin a cat.
The Odd Essay, must be this guy's twin living, that kid you are talking about.
Jimkabob, I got so mad this morning I think I burned off some brain cells. . . I was hot enough to do so.
Trouble, No, my eye problem is fixed, I hope. I will call the provider Monday and see what they can do. It as expensive getting a line way back here in the first place.
Gypsy, Surgery went well, so far. I can see better than I have for a long time. It just kept getting worse, had to do something.
Actions and consequences...
ReplyDeleteThat is for sure.
DeleteI THINK I'D HAVE MY SON OUT THERE DIGGING IN THE MUD, FILLING THE RUTS AND TELLING HIS 'FRIEND' HE'D BE BETTER OFF SOME PLACE ELSE WITH HIS 4X4 !!! STUPID, UNCARING PEOPLE... SEE IF HE'S GOT ANY INSURANCE !!! MAKE HIM FIX IT !!!
ReplyDeleteGLAD YOUR EYE SURGERY CAME OUT OKAY !!!
I don't usually get mad, but for some reason I did today. I don't like to get mad, but sometimes it gets things done.
